New Delhi (Auto Desk) Many auto companies are going to launch their new products in the first month of FY 2018-19.During the auto expo, the companies had made several announcements about the new financial year. We have already told you about trains launched in the month of April, but now through this news we are going to tell about the bikes which will be launched in April 2018.
1. Hero Extreme 200R
Estimated cost – 80,000 to 85,000 rupees (ex-showroom)
Hero Moto Corp is coming back in the premium segment.During the auto expo, the company had introduced the Hero XTreme 200R. Now the company is going to launch it this month. The company first introduced this bike during the Concept Auto Expo 2016. The company has given a new 200cc, single cylinder engine in its production version. This engine generates torque of 18.1 bhp at 8500 rpm and 17.1 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is equipped with 5 speed gearbox. The company will launch it with the ABS feature.
2. 2018 Triumph Tiger 1200
Estimated cost – 18 to
21 lakh rupees (ex-showroom)
Triumph Motorcycle India can launch its new Tiger 1200 in India in April.This will be the first launch of the British Motorcycle brand in FY 2018-19. The Indian dealership had already started taking bookings from its 2 lakh rupees. The new tiger 1200 will have 1215cc, in-line triple cylinder motor engine which will be lightweight flywheel and crankshaft. Company will give standard arrow exemption in Top-Variants. This engine generates 141bhp power at 9,350rpm and torque of 122Nm at 7,600 rpm. After launch in India, the base XR variants of this bike price is Rs 18 lack (ex-showroom). At the same time, the XCA top variant price can be Rs 21 lack (ex-showroom).
3. Suzuki GSX-S750
Estimated cost – Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom)
According to media reports, Suzuki can launch its new powerful bike GSX-S750 in April. Speaking of the engine, the Suzuki GSX-S750 has a 749cc in-line, four-cylinder engine, which will give torque of 110PS power and 81Nm torque, apart from it, it has 6 speed gear. Company will set its engine according to the Indian roads. Company will assemble the Suzuki GSX-S750 in India only. As a safety feature, it will feature ABS (anti lock braking system).
