India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) launched the locally built 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 300 with anti-lock braking system (ABS). The company has priced it 2.98 lakh rupees (ex-showroom Delhi). The company has incorporated new graphics and paint options in this updated model. Due to being locally produced, the prices of Kawasaki ninja have been cut by Rs. 62,000 compared to the old model. Along with this Kawasaki Ninja 400 is 1.71 lac cheaper. Kawasaki Ninja 400 on the global level has been dropped on the Kawasaki Ninja 300’s replacement.

While unloading this updated model, Kawasaki India’s Managing Director Utuka Yamashita said, “We have started manufacturing Ninja 300 locally under Make in India. We have decided to competitive price due to the Ninja manufacturing locally. The benefits of doing so, which can give us new customers the chance to enjoy our product and the SuperSport Can start experiencing the reindeer. ”

He further said, “Ninja 300 is the entry level sports bike in Kawasaki’s product portfolio. Our customers start from ninja 300 and then upgrade to the next class. Therefore, due to the cheap price, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is our best selling product in India.”

Color and Weight:

Kawasaki Ninja 300 has two color schemes – Lime Green / Ebony and Kandy Plasma Blue. In the bike, the dual headlamps, locally manufactured components, MRF Tires, Advent Brakes and 5mm Ride Hight, inspired by the Ninja ZX-10R, have been given as feature. Bike weight is now 7 kg more than the old model. That is, now the weight of the ninja 300 is 179 kg.


As a power, 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS has 296 cc parallel-twin cylinder, 8 valve, DOHC engine. This engine generates a power of 38 bhp at 11,000 rpm and a torque of 27 nm at 10,000 rpm. The engine is equipped with 6-speed transmission. Dual-channel ABS feature is also offered in the bike.


Kawasaki Ninja 300 is more affordable than BMW G 310R launched two days ago. The price of BMW G 310R is 2.99 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). Apart from this Kawasaki Ninja 300 will be competing with Yamaha YZF-R3, which costs 3.48 lakh rupees (ex showroom Delhi).

Features of Yamaha YZF-R3:

Yamaha Motor was launched the Yamaha YZF-R3 bike in India during Auto Expo 2018. Its X showroom price is 3.48 lakh rupees. It is a full fare bike and it was launched the company’s brand ambassador Bollywood star John Abraham in India. The bike has the same 321 cc engine which is liquid cooled and has a twin cylinder.
